we drive south through Big Sur to San Simeon. We are a little bummed because it will be a while before we are in Big Sur again…time to see something hewn though. The drive through the park is brilliant as always and as we cross the southern entrance, it doesn't take long for us to realize that the road ahead is full of promise. We drift into San Simeon and are treated to that almost tropical blue water and coastal magic. A trip further south shows us more including zebras - yup - San Simeon zebras…..eat your heart out Theresa…We find a little seafood place in Cambria and have the most amazing salmon and scampi…..yes, definitely lots of promise!
